HOW A UNIT MOVES
On a unit's sheet you will see at the bottom
- RESOURCE, and then has a line of three numbers in boxes, one for each coloured part of the ARMOUR
SCALE .
These numbers show you how many resource points you have to spend moving the unit when you control it. For each point of resource you
spend on movement, you can move the unit 2 steps.
So, if the unit in question has a resource of 4, you could move it up to 8 steps in total. As the unit becomes damaged the amount of
resource it has is reduced, as shown by the next two boxes along. When you are moving troopers, they don't move 2 steps for each resource
point, but 1 step.

All distances in ROBOGEAR are measured using the range ruler:
You can see on the range ruler that it is marked in steps so you can easily work out how far your unit is able to move. Simply measure from
the front of the unit with your range ruler to where you want to end up. You then spend the appropriate amount of resource points to cover
that number of steps.
If there are things in the way of your unit when it moves, either buildings or other units, you will have to move around them. Measure in
straight lines how far it will take for your unit to move around the obstacle.
For war walkers, if the obstacle is no taller than the walker's legs then it can step over it without a problem, if not it has to go around it.
FLYING UNITS
Units that can fly don't need to worry about things in the way as they can just fly over them. Your unit can always move in a straight line
to exactly where you want to go. If your enemy has flying units then don't forget that they're able to do this -just because you can't get to
them doesn't mean that they can't get you.
