Markus Three-Eye
The first records that Marcus Three-eye, a legendary pirate and the Empire mercenary had not died dated from the first decade after the end of
the Third Wave of Intrusion. At first, nobody in the Protectorate wished to believe numerous reports of smugglers and merchants, but in the course
of time the rumors got irrefutable confirmations.
Markus Three-eye had somehow contrived to defraud the Death and by then from a free pirate admiral he turned into the
Empire commander. Some evidences about his present appearance allow making a supposition how he had managed to survive. There are some records
about a transient raid of not numerous retreating pirates at the very end of the battle for Felicia. A small detachment of well armed and trained
pirates landed on the battlefield on the plain of Swinbik and having quickly destroyed a small covering force of Felicia militia left the planet
in a few hours not undertaking any other apparent actions. It remains only to guess in what way Markus had managed to achieve such great devotion
from his people and how they found his body on the battlefield. It is also remains in the sphere of guess-work why the Empire powers agreed to
animate such a hard to control person and in what way they bought his loyalty. But the fact remains. During 12 years after the end of the Third
Wave of Intrusion, Markus became famous as a ruthless guide of the Empire law on the conquered territories.
Even in comparison how Markus looked before his first death after the animation in the Empire laboratories he looks really
terribly. His face that had almost completely burnt out in the battle of Swinbik was replaced with a titan mask absolutely devoid of mimic.
Only eyes remained on Markus’s face original, but they more likely serve as an adjunct to the artificial eye located in the middle of his
forehead. His whole body is covered with the armor that can rather be call a sarcophagus – it is impossible to say how much human remained
in Markus.
His manner has not changed since his pirate past. He is in command of the largest pirate squadron in the service of the
Empire. His army includes not only people, but also night-stalkers – the nation that lives beyond the sphere of the Dominion and had its origin
in early generic experiments of the Empire scientists.
