Lord Shindgy

His state is actually a national enclave inhabited mainly by distant descendants of natives from South Asia countries of the old Earth. Shindgy’s Segunate is a strict totalitarian regime. During Usurpation, Lord Shindgy supported Usurper encouraging him to a new aggression against the Protectorate. He did not accept the isolationist policy of Regent and officially declared about his separation from the Inner Empire because the ruling clique had betrayed the ideals of Polaris Empire. As a result the most “irreconcilable” generals and admirals of the Empire – all, who dream about renascence of the fame of the Universe conquerors, come to Segunate.

Shindgy has the largest force of ships among the states separated from the Inner Empire and most powerful army, which in many respects preserved the customs adopted in the Old Empire. And only the shortage of resources and the circumstance that relatively under-developed planets passed into the possession of Shindgy prevent him from proceeding immediate expansion. But all the same Dragon Segunate will have to conduct an aggressive policy – having army and fleet whose maintenance is beyond his pocket, Shindgy will very soon face the choice – either to disband the army and fleet, either finally undermine the economy trying to support the armed forces and then all the same to liquidate them, either to use the armed forces according to their destination while they are still strong enough. Alas, one should not doubt what Shindgy’s choice will be…

His nearest neighbor in this quadrant is Empire Confederation of Lady Agatha. Shindgy is irreconcilable to her and considers her and the Confederation, as a whole, the direct traitors of Polaris Empire. The propaganda of Dragon Segunate accuses Lady Agatha that she sold herself to the Protectorate magnates and that she develops the Confederation in such a way in order to join the Protectorate in future. Border conflicts and minor skirmishes are constantly happening along the borders between Dragon Segunate and Empire Confederation. In response, Lady Agatha shuts her eyes to the fact that the pirates attacking Segunate’s worlds arranged convenient shelters on the Confederation territory long ago.

Dragon Segunate is in the state of cold war with the Inner Empire under Regent’s government. The both sides are willingly supporting all kinds of rebels and separatists acting on the territory of their potential opponent, however an open confrontation is yet to come. Dragon Segunate does not have an immediate border with the Protectorate thanks to this fact it has not come to direct collisions yet.
