It is also known that Lord Cross prefers to fight not inside his command Robogear, but on foot personally heading attacks of Tribunators and
even ordinary infantry. Military theorists consider him high-class specialist in town combat and generally under the conditions of confined space.
The most famous battles where Lord Cross took part are the hundred-day assault of the planet-city Velian, quelling of the revolt
on Chronos-7 and the seizure of mining complex on Rusty Splinter.

Lord Cross always was the servant of the Empire. Having retained his position during Usurpation, he did not take part in the
events, which led to establishing Regency, as he was in command of troops at the periphery of the Empire. Having heard about the upheaval, Lord
Cross returned to Polaris Prime at the head of large fleet. But by the moment of his returning, everything was over – Usurper and his accomplices
had fled and Counsel of Lord had declared Victor Regent. When the mighty fleet appeared in the orbit of Polaris Prime, everybody waited new
shakes and a new outbreak of civil war. But nothing happened – Cross met Victor and they talked privately for a long time as a result both Lord
Cross and his fleet swore to Regent.
There is a version according which just Lord Cross played the decisive role in the removal of Alexey Dolgorukiy from the
power and his subsequent honorary exile to South-East Quadrant of the Empire. It is easy to believe in this – the rivalry and even direct
confrontation between Cross and Alexey trace their roots back to old times.
As a consequence of these events, Lord Cross received the post of Great Admiral and now he actually is the commander-in-chief
of the space fleet of the Inner Empire. Nothing has ever happed anything that could give cause for suspect Cross of disloyalty to Victor or that
he is carrying out an independent policy. Even his conflict with Dolgorukiy is nothing more than paying back for some private business, which
does not have anything in common with the political line of this undoubtedly outstanding military leader.
Now Lord Cross is literally one of the main supports of Regent.
